What is Rant Host? Rant Host is a free service offered by the staff of Rantlister.com. We will provide members with free web space with FTP access and database if needed. We do not offer any assistance in coding your page, however. This service is designed for rant site authors (only) who can’t afford hosting and do not wish to be censored by free blog or other hosting services. Each site will be given a sub domain of the ranthost.com URL for easy access. If you would like to take advantage of this free service then scroll down and read the terms and conditions before applying for a site. THIS SERVICE IS FOR RANT SITES ONLY, NOT BLOGS! Terms and Conditions 1.) You agree that everything posted on your site, with the exception of altered images, are creations of your own making. Plagiarizing other ranters’ work will not be tolerated. 2.) Your site is a text based rant site. Although there is no bandwidth limit, please remember that you are sharing bandwidth with other sites. Multimedia (such as mp3’s or videos) can be hosted but if you use too much bandwidth, you will be asked to remove it. 3.) The staff of Rant Host reserves the right to remove your site if it is not updated for at least 1 year in the event that we need the database or FTP account. The staff will make an attempt to contact any site owner prior to removal. All files will be archived on the server in the event that you wish to start your site up again. 4.) You must submit 5 complete articles for review. This is to ensure that we give away access only to dedicated writers and not people looking for free hosting to dick around. If you already have an established site and are wishing to move, provide a link to your existing site in your request e-mail. That’s pretty much it. The whole point of this service is to be free from restrictive rules.
